Jo-Anne Muraya


Jo-Anne is a Human Resource practitioner with over 18 years‘ experience garnered from the financial services sector in the United States, Europe and Africa. She started her career as a graduate recruiter with Goldman Sachs in New York and later Lehman Brothers, before moving into the Human Resources Business Partnering space while at Deutsche Bank in London. After four and a half years with Stanbic Bank Kenya, Jo-Anne relocated to Johannesburg in early 2017, where she is responsible for Human Capital for the Corporate and Investment Bank for the Southern and Central Africa region at Standard Bank Group.

Jo-Anne cares deeply about the development of socially conscious, ethically upright, and morally driven leaders in Africa. She is passionate about nurturing and developing leaders who want to effect positive change unselfishly. Jo-Anne has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and History from Bryn Mawr College, and is a fully accredited Executive Coach.



George Njenga


Dr. George N. Njenga is the Deputy Vice Chancellor, Research and Quality Assurance at Strathmore University and founding Dean of Strathmore Business School. He is also a senior lecturer at Strathmore University in Strategy, Political Governance and Leadership. He has a PhD (hons) in Political Philosophy from the University of Navarra, Spain.


Nick Moon

Nick Moon has lived in Kenya since 1982, working for economic equity and social justice in Africa. In 1991 he co-founded – and until December 2011 was the Managing Director of – the award-winning not- for-profit social enterprise KickStart International.

Abdinoor is an accomplished Humanitarian worker and Disaster Management Consultant with over 10 years of quality work experience in Program Management and Emergency Coordination acquired in various challenging roles with leading organizations in Kenya.


June Gachui


June is an accomplished lawyer, musician, and actress. She is the Principal for JGIP Consultants, a legal service firm in the intellectual property sector. Previously, she was the general manager of the Kenya Association of Music Producers and provided legal support to the Music Copyright Society of Kenya and Total Kenya. She continues to be an artist in her own right, having made a significant mark in both the local music and theatre scenes over the last decade.
